this site rules. The guy from Hyperbubble let me know about it. I even recognized some of the flyers from when I was too young to go shows, but my older sister was out & about. Keep it going.

AmAzinG cOlLeCtIon !!::::My current favorites are the flysters for::::Lung Overcoat/Part White/Butthole Surfers;:: aside from the mystical quality of a show:: where two of the bands included blood relatives,:: this was the night that the PCP EP was recorded.::::Big Boys/Rejects/the Dick Gas 5;:: didn't see this one, but I can confirm that the Dick Gas Five were the original Butthole Surfers, just before they changed their name.

i remember san antonio had such a good hardcore scene i thought those days would never end then all of a sudden it was gone its pretty sad to see these kids at shows these days that have no idea of what used to go on at shows the crazy mosh pits we used to call it slamming the fear of nazi skins it was some pretty fun times i also remember digging threw records and years of collecting records and tapes and really getting into the music now kids just get on line and look up the meaning of punk and thirty minutes later they are schooled in what punk is but you aint punk unless you lived it sorry kids mommy and daddy didnt drop us off at shows and pick us up when it was over i also remember dumpster diving at pizza hut on san pedro when it was closed thats another thing punks these days wont do anyways im sounding like a bitter old man but i had so much fun in those days

fuck dude , thanks so much . i found yr site while nostalgia trolling for info on f.i.f.h . :::: we were all pissed off at the time , but over all what a great fuckin place to grow up (or refuse to , as the case may be) . ive lived all over the country since , and outside of the obvious biggies few towns pulled off as diverse and vibrant a scene . :::: thanks to all the bands and all the fuck ups , and thanks to the three big pussy skins that jumped my scrawny friend and i , and got their faces beat in with the ghetto dave donaldson skateboard deck i still occaisionally rock . its got some lovely allmost 20 yr old blood stains on it !! that day i became a man ( cheese, but no joke).:::: my wife and i still moan from time to time about how the skins blew all our underage kicks at CHANGES . yeah industrial new wave crap i know but even a smartass skatepunk has to get laid .:::: ramble , ramble , again thanks for for putting this up . :::: thank you everybody who was anybody , and also the nobodies . S A PUNX RULE !!

this is a great find. the best times ever from a period that probably shaped ALL of our lives forever. i remember almost all of these shows vividly. if anyone has any of the CBS stuff including tapes (on CD) and flyers please email me and let me know. back in those i didn't have a nostalgiac bone in my body and lost most of this stuff along the way. but, now, i'd really love to have some of this stuff.::::thanks to everyone who helped make it a true scene, supported CBS and all the other local bands. and thanks especially for making an indelible impression on my life and an attitude that carries on to this day.::::anyone who reads this- feel free to drop me a line at the above email and we can catch up. and for anyone reading this who happens to be in the L.A. area contact me and maybe we can grab a beer sometime. ::::Andy::Crippled By Society
